Thought I'd try the blogging as a way of getting my personal views "out there" in the rare instance that someone will appreciate them or, at least, discover them and know what Keeper thought.
This post being the first (and trial), I am going with a kind of "all inclusive" topic I've recently been pondering: Kurzweil's writings on The Singularity.
I've always hated Math, so such things are not an easy read. But the thinking and observations behind the ideas make it worth the nerdy overtones.
So, in the end, it is ALL just information, isn't it?
Not only the workings of the known physical world, but even the invisible. Selfishly, I do like that it puts US at the center again. What seems a bit unsettling is the human brashness suggesting WE can wholly understand where the Singularity will take us. And where will it leave us? I'd like to think that the true Governing God has a more pleasureable place for our information based beings to play at than that described by current homo sapien authors.
But in any case, I think most would agree that IT really is all INFORMATION, isn't IT ?
